Up for sale is my Omega Speedmaster Automatic ref. 176.0012 aka the MK 4.5. This is perhaps the most underrated Speedy out there. Featuring a rugged 41.75 x 45.3 x 15.25mm barrel case, it wears and feels like a modern sport watch, but still exudes a certain 70s charm. More importantly though, its one of only 3 Speedys to feature the 1045 caliber, aka the Lemania 5100 (tuned and plated by Omega). This is my favorite chronograph movement out there, and is something every watch collector should get to try and experience. Its key features are a central minute-counter, which heightens legibility and an extra robust build-quality, leading it to have been used in many military watches. (check out this article about it here Chronography 4: Lemania 5100 - Worn & Wound)

The watch itself is in very good condition considering its from the late 70s. There are definitely the nicks and scratches of daily wear all around, but nothing severe. There are some signs that someone lightly refinished it in the past, but the original brushing and polishing are still very apparent.

It runs very well and keeps very decent time (in the 20 seconds/day range). The chronograph runs well as well though in complete transparency, occasionally the hands dont fully return, and will require a second push of the reset pusher. This is something Ive found on other Lemania 5100 watches as well. The movement itself is super clean (see pics).

The watch comes as shown on a bracelet sized for 7 - 7.25 wrist (its a little loose on me, so I barely used it).

Asking $2000 Paypal, Venmo, Chase quickpay only, CONUS highly preferable (international with additional shipping)
