The Centenary model was only produced in solid 18k gold: OMEGA (18k "Centenary" Chronometer Automatic) - Excellent 35mm signed solid 18k gold snapback case (#107847xx) with thick, beefy lugs, signed 17 jewel calibre JUB 30.10 RA PC chronometer automatic movement (#107611xx, adjusted to 5 positions and temperature), signed original champagne gold satin solid 18k gold dial with raised 18k gold diamond and arrow markers and arabic numerals at 12:00, raised 18k gold Omega logo at 12:00, 18k gold dauphine hands and subsidiary seconds at 6:00, signed crown, Di-Modell genuine ostrich strap. The signed 17 jewel chronometer grade calibre JUB 30.10 RA PC bumper automatic movement was the first chronometer automatic produced by Omega, and preceded the Constellation series chronometer automatics by several years. The movement is clean, running fine and keeping excellent time. There were only 4000 Centenary models produced with the 30.10 chronometer movement. The solid 18k gold snapback case on this piece is in excellent condition, and features the classic thick, beefy lugs. At 35mm in diameter, this is the reference 2500 model (as opposed to the slightly smaller 33mm reference 2499).  The excellent and unusual champagne gold satin dial is solid 18k gold, and is signed, "Omega, Automatic, Chronometre, Swiss Made." This is a very unusual and attractive early vintage Omega chronometer automatic. 1948 VINTAGE SOLID 18k GOLD OMEGA CENTENARY CHRONOMETER AUTOMATIC WITH ORIGINAL SOLID 18k GOLD DIAL!
