Here is a rare and original 1940's vintage Tudor Rose reference 951 bumper automatic with original dial.  This model is the only bumper automatic ever produced by Rolex (from 1946 to 1952), and is quite rare.  Here's the details:  ROLEX TUDOR (SS Bumper Automatic) - 33x42mm signed (Tudor) stainless steel screwback case (reference 951, #51969), signed (Tudor) 17 jewel bumper automatic movement, aged original Tudor "rose" dial with raised silver and luminous arrow markers, silver and luminous hands and sweep seconds, signed (Rolex) original screwdown crown, brand new Rios leather strap.  The silver satin dial is original with considerable aging, and is signed, "Tudor, (rose), Oyster, Automatic, Shock Resisting, Swiss Made."  The luminous material on the dial and hands is aged or missing, and does not glow.  The case serial number places the production date of this watch in the 1940's.  The movement in this watch is the only bumper automatic model Rolex ever made, and is quite rare.  They were produced for Rolex from 1946 to 1952 by A Schild (calibre 1250), which has the advantage of ease of parts and servicing (Rolex servicing is not necessary).  The movement on this piece is running, but would no doubt benefit from servicing.  The same reference 951 model is priced up to $3k on the internet.  This piece can be yours for $795 plus shipping ($15 US Delivery or $60 International via Global Express).  RARE TUDOR REFERENCE 951 BUMPER AUTOMATIC WITH ORIGINAL DIAL!  THE ONLY BUMPER AUTOMATIC EVER MADE BY ROLEX!
