How do I reply to an listing?

Most listings of watches need to be replied on the site where the watch is originally posted for sale. Look for the large green button that says "Visit Classified To Make An Offer" and click on it to be taken to the original ad. You will often need to log in or register on the destination site in order to reply, or if the listing has a phone number or email you can use that.

How do I post a listing?

Once registered and logged in, click on the "Place an Ad" link located near the top of the screen. Proceed to fill out the form with information regarding the item for sale. Once you have filled it out, click on the "Submit" button. You should then see confirmation text on the page if your listing was successfully posted. You can then continue to edit the listing if necessary.

What is the currency filter?

When browsing for listings, you will see a dropdown box that says "Filter currency". This is not a system to convert currencies of the prices in listings, instead, it is a way to filter what ads will show in the browse and search results. If you select a currency, say Euro, myWatchMart will only show you listings that were originally posted in Euro pricing.

This filter is not perfect in its accuracy, its based on our system's ability to detect whether the ad was listed in a certain currency, and not all ads are clear what currency they are listed in. We suggest using this filter only for casual filtering, but to also look at the unfiltered results to see the largest variety of listings.

How do I modify my listing?

Once registered and logged in, click on the "My Profile" link on the Username dropdown menu located at the top right-hand corner of the site. You will be shown a list of all the listings you have posted. After you have click into the listing that you would like to update, you are given the option to "Edit" or "Sold". Just click on "Edit" to be taken to a form which has the current information from your listing which you have already filled in.

Process to modify the fields accordingly. When finished, click on the "Submit" button. You should then see confirmation text if your listing was successfully modified.




Why am I prevented from posting more than 2 listings per hour and 3 per day?

All user accounts have an hourly and a daily posting limits. These limits exist to protect the site, and other users, from "floods" of listings by the same user. They also protect YOU, the poster of the listings, from being ignored by visitors. Through the years, visitors who follow the listings have expressed they do NOT want to see a flood of listings from the same users, as it deteriorates their shopping experience and hurts the varity on the site.

We ALL win, when myWatchMart limits the number of listings each user posts per day, because of increase in variety of ads and also so that users who post fewer ads don't have their classifieds pushed out too quickly by more active users.




How do I get notified when a listing has updated the price?

If you would like to get email notification on specific listing price update, you can add the listing to your favourite. Also you can manage your favorited listings anytime in your favourites page.
